International Cooperation

Acquiring new knowledge from an international perspective!
For the last couple of years, the school has developed the idea that a student has to go abroad so as to discover new horizons, new skills and new cultures. This is achieved through different ways: through school trips in a foreign country, through partnerships between European schools or with training periods abroad.
We have had or still have partners in various corners of Europe. Our partners can either be from northern countries to eastern countries: Sweden, Poland, Rumania, Slovenia, and Czech Republic. We are very proud of the partnership with Czech Republic because it’s the oldest one as it started in 1991 a few years after the iron curtain fell. Why not having a look at our historical partner website?
Over the last few years more and more students are doing their training period abroad: in Europe, in Africa, in Oceania, in Asia and as of summer 2009 in North America. Because we do not conceive going abroad for short periods, we encourage students to realize their training periods for at least two months and up to three months so that they can get acquainted with the work they have to fulfill, with the culture they have to apprehend, with their new colleagues. This period also gives the hosting structure time to train the student so that he can really achieve work for the structure. From this experience, most students gain self-confidence, self esteem and once they have bitten to the juicy taste of international work-related experiences they often return abroad once they graduated. We are also trying to build partnerships so that students can do their training periods in places we trust, with people we trust. Why don’t you have a look at the training period world map where we have sent some of our students?
The school also encourages school trips abroad so as to discover new cultures. Over the last couple of years students from our school went to Belgium, Italy, England, Scotland, Ireland.

Voyage en Europe

Once again take some time to look at the school trips map and photo gallery. Thanks to these school trips students enrich their culture.
All these contacts are made possible thanks to the help of the local government body Conseil Régional de Franche Comté and the French Ministry of Agriculture
